Requesting secondary testing/development PPA

Asked by Timothy Pearson

I am currently maintaining KDE3 for Intrepid+, but with Jaunty upcoming I am facing a bit of a problem. There are a lot of changes needed to get KDE3 working on Intrepid (after the slew of recent official updates) and Jaunty, and it would be helpful to have a secondary PPA in which I can attempt a full rebuild/bugfix of KDE3 for Intrepid before bringing it live.

Would it be possible to create a private PPA for a few months, just while I complete the rebuild, and then I can move the new packages to my main PPA once they are verified as working?

Thank you,

Timothy Pearson

I think this request is sort of related with https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/soyuz/+question/62815.

I would feel more comfortable if it was possible to coordinate your nice work with the kubuntu team members or, at least, in another team.

I will check the possibilities to create a private PPA for you in these terms.

I think the team PPA will fill my/the team's needs nicely, so I am marking this as solved.
