When I approve a template in the import queue, it should be marked for export into language-packs unless I say otherwise.

Asked by Arne Goetje

When I approve a new template in the import queue, currently it is *not* marked to be exported into language-packs. This should be changed and a checkbox added to the approval screen to be unchecked when the template should really not be exported into language-packs.
I don't really want to go through each template and check the corresponding checkbox in the Admin screen. :(

Hi Arne,
adding that checkbox might not be the problem but I don't see that defaulting it to "checked" is a good idea because in many other cases outside Ubuntu this must not be checked. Or am I missing an easy way to detect your special case?

This could be limited to the Ubuntu specific import queue, where I approve templates for a distro series. Whenever I approve a template there it should normally go also into the language-packs. Except for cases where I explicitly say so.

Ok, that should work. I created a bug report for it.

It might be even better if project admins could choose by project if they want language-pack exports by default or not. I guess Ubuntu would be one of the very few to enable this.
