Full paths in uploaded files

hi,

whenever i upload a file from IE 7 on Windows, it appears in Launchpad with the full path it had on my computer; eg:
C:\Documents\Webs\DCBouncer-rev56-bin.tar.gz
instead of just:
DCBouncer-rev56-bin.tar.gz
on <https://launchpad.net/dcbouncer/+download>.

same happens when i upload a translation template (which i assume might result in screwing up the automated import system), or when i upload a patch on a bug report page.

i've noticed this has happened to other people too <https://bugs.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+bug/306209/comments/6>.

is this a known bug? i'd rather ask here before turning into a report.
