I would like to take over the 'duplcity' project.

Asked by Kenneth Loafman

I have been maintaining duplicity at http://duplicity.nongnu.org/ for the last year or more. I would like to move it over to Launchpad. It appears that the LP project is not active.

...Thanks,
...Ken

Hi Ken,

Probably the first thing to do is to contact the current owner of the project in Launchpad, who appears to be <https://launchpad.net/~fluteflute>. Here is the project page:

https://launchpad.net/duplicity

Ask Greg to transfer ownership of the project to you, and please let us know if you don't get an answer, in which case we can effect the transfer ourselves.

Once you're the owner of the Launchpad project, we can certainly assist you in importing your artifacts from nongnu. We can help import code and bugs, though currently we have to do this manually. I see the Canonical LOSAs are already assigned to this question, and they can help with some of the administrative tasks.
