no response to a registered bug

Hello,

Yesterday I registered a bug (Bug #321859) and until today did not receive any feedback on it. I wander maybe i forgot to add something in the bug reporting form, otherwise, if so many people were notified of the bug, why no one responded?

Hope to hear from the Launchpad team.

P.S. Below is the description of a bug:

Installed Ubuntu 8.10 in October 2008 on a Acer TravelMate C111TCi (10,4 inch TabletPC). It run flawlessly. 2 weeks ago installed Windows XP SP2 in parallel. Also OK. Yesterday (26/01/2009) 3 automatic updated were installed (did not pay attention which ones). The computer was switched off after that. Today tried to boot it and the display was corrupted: 2/3 of the screen are blurry (looks like a radio/magnetic disturbance) with one thick (4 centimeters) and 2 thin ( 5 millimeters) brown stripes. Can open files and brows internet, but can not see anything.

Rebooted from Windows - everything is OK, so I assume it is purely Ubuntu 8.10 problem.

Any idea what it might be?

P.S. Now it is even weirder - the image is tripled and there is still some disturbance. See the picture attached.

You may want to ask for help on the issue you reported on #ubuntu @ irc.freenode.net. If you can't get help there you should wait a few days for an answer to your bug report, failing that you can file a question at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+addquestion
