Same problem as Chuck22 - 58272

I have the same problem with Office Word Processor and Spreadsheet, also all dropdown menus are blank, forms have outlines but no text - started last week. I run Ubuntu 8.10 and several subsequent reloads of programme has not cured error. Neither has a new graphics card!. I also say HELP.
