Michael,

I've assigned your issue to someone who should be able to help you, or at least provide you with more information.

I think that's done. Can you give it a spin?

Trying things out now for the first time. I switched from 6.x to 5.x...

Click Login button

"Sign in as Michael Lustfield?
These details will be sent to SD Loco RP:
    * Only your identity URL"

I need the email addy and name sent as well for the events module.

Click Sign In button

Error: "Only site administrators can create new user accounts."

I set the wrong permission for creating the user. Users can now log in but I'm still unable to grab user/email.

Here is a better question probably.

"These are the Launchpad-specific settings which are available:
Keep users' name and email in sync with Launchpad. This will ensure that your users' usernames (and email addresses if your site is registered with Launchpad) are synced with Launchpad every time they login. Enabled by default.
Prevent users from using the registration form. This will prevent non-Launchpad users from creating accounts on your site and will also prevent registered users from retrieving their password from your site in order to login with their drupal username and password rather than using Launchpad. You can still create individual users or assign passwords manually if you need to give individuals non-Launchpad access to your site. Enabled by default. "

Where do I set these? I want to be passing the user/email to drupal as well as ensure this is the only way to log in.

I spent just a little bit in the code. As long as my trust root has really been added then my questions have been answered.

Sorry for not looking at the code first.

Thanks

Ya, now I know how to make it work but it doesn't look like my trust root has been added.

This is from the plugins README:
"It is possible to receive email addresses from launchpad as part of the login process by registering your site's trust root. To do that, please file a question on the launchpad project telling us your site's trust root:"

What else do I need to do to make this work?

Michael, did you read the setup instructions here? https://help.launchpad.net/DrupalPlugins

Michael, I found a misconfig on the openid trust root setting and have corrected that. Please try again. If it works, please let me know and I'll have the documentation updated.

David Giard - Read through the docs. There's a README.txt file in each of the modules. Also read http://news.launchpad.net/cool-new-stuff/new-launchpad-plugins-for-drupal.

This will help you understand where this question is coming from. Then you too can get an answer.

This did turn into a bug report as well, but was never meant to be.

From the README file:

It is possible to receive email addresses from launchpad as part of the login
process by registering your site's trust root. To do that, please file a
question on the launchpad project telling us your site's trust root:

https://launchpad.net/launchpad/+addquestion

Witch is exactly what i did, but i had no responce in 11 days. So i'm asking here.

Three problems:
1. You marked the question solved.
2. You didn't give anybody time to get to it. Remember, Ubuntu is a very large community.
3. You tried to link it to mine when mine was solved.

Make a fresh new question and give somebody time to get to it. It's very odd that mine got done in a day.
