Merge account almer1 with almer

Asked by Almer S. Tigelaar

Hello,

I no longer have access to the <email address hidden> account (I do have access to <email address hidden> and <email address hidden>) so I can not merge the automatically created almer1 account into my 'almer' account. Could you do this for me?

With kind regards,

Almer S. Tigelaar

Hi Almer, to which emails do you still have access? You say that you have access to <email address hidden> and that you no longer have access to <email address hidden>, which one is correct? And which are the both accounts you're trying to merge?

Thanks a lot!

Úrsula

Hi Ursula,

Yes, that's a typo on my part, sorry.

The situation is as follows:
1) I do NOT have access to <email address hidden>
2) I do have access to <email address hidden>
(at one point in history the 'dds.nl' became commercial, at that time an alternative was provided by a group of hobbyist that started 'deds.nl' which continues to provide free services for its members).

Apparantly the 'almer1' account on launchpad was automatically created based on my old dds e-mail address that I used a long time ago. I created the 'almer' account manually for reporting bugs.

So my request is: please merge the 'almer1' account into the 'almer' account. Since both refer to me. I can not do this myself, since it requires access to the <email address hidden> e-mail account which no longer exists.

The 'almer' account in Ubuntu launchpad is currently coupled to the <email address hidden> e-mail address. That address is actually a forward to '<email address hidden>'

Anyway, to quickly summarize:
- There is a duplicate account situation ('almer1' should be merged into 'almer')
- I do not have access to the e-mail address 'almer1' refers to, so I can not solve this myself

I hope this clears things up :)
