Sure, we can do a full import of this from SourceForge. I'll start the process on Monday, though we may have to test somewhere other than demo.lp.net given its current unavailability.

Graham thanks. I tried to do what Michael suggested but that didn't seem to do anything. Possibly pebkac, but there's also surprisingly little documentation on the help wiki on importing issues from SF. I can't help but think that if we made this dead simple we'd get a mass migration, which may be good or bad <wink>. I can understand if that's much more difficult than it seems (and probably fragile give dependency on SF).

I think that Michael misunderstood your request as a request for
importing bug statuses; importing bugs is a different box of frogs.
Ultimately we want this to be a one-or-two click process but at the
moment it's manual and somewhat laborious. It's definitely worth
fixing the documentation though.

I've done an initial local import of this today and it appears to have
gone fine. I'll try to get an import done on staging/demo some time
next week but UDS may interrupt matters.

Thanks for working on this Graham. No worries if it doesn't happen
until after UDS.

Since demo is currently down I'm going to talk to the Soyuz guys
tomorrow, see if we can use dogfood for a test import instead.

Hi Graham, any status on this? I know it's fallen off both our radars, but I'm having some users ping me about it. If dogfooding is too much of a PITA, let's JFDI. :)

Hi Graham. Though staging was a bit finicky, most reports indicated the import looked fine. Can we make it real?

Sure! I'll do it first thing Herb-time on Monday.

All bugs should now be available at https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/python-mode.
