firefox regularly kill automatically

Hi Friends,

          firefox hac been killed at very short duration , and on restarting it agains kills and then it looks as if everything about firefox has been locked.I dont know wat is going on, please help me ,is it ant bug .If its bug then how to solve it .

  sometime after killing it didnt start again, and when we restart the comp the problem get solved.

Thanks for the question.

Usually, when this happens, the process did not end properly (i.e. lingers as a zombie or something like this). Since firefox checks if it is already running, no new firefox process can be started.

The best thing to prevent this situation is to be patient. Don't start a new process before the old one has really finished. This should reduce the chance for problems.

Worst case, I reboot certainly removes any lingering processes.
