Romanian language

Asked by Adi Roiban

As far as I know Romanian language is also the official language in the Republic of Moldova.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Moldova#Languages

For the following page: https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/+languages/ro do we need to specify only the countries having a specific language as the official one, or any country wher it is spoken?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanian_language

Many thanks!

The criteria are not established at the moment, so it depends on who has added the countries. I usually add only official languages. I've added Moldavia as the country where Romainian is spoken in.

In the future, we'll make use of this data to render how good translation coverage is there for a certain region of the world, when we'll introduce "weights" (by population speaking it as a first language), and then it'll make sense to add all the languages that are spoken in a country, whether they are official or not.
