I've created Translation teams for Tatar and Bashkir languages. Please, register it as translation teams.

Asked by Azamat S. Kalimoulline

subj. Also interested next question. In ubuntu packages available language-pack-tt and so on related to kde and gnome. But when I try to choose tatar language in kde system settings, it is not present in list. And I can't add tatar language. Also question about bashkir language (ba in ISO-639-1). It is currently not in ubuntu packages. How can I add them or it is become automatically once it registered in launchpad?

I've set the ubuntu-l10n-ba and ubuntu-l10n-tt as respective translation teams for Bashkir and Tatar.

In general, I am not sure about how you enable a language in KDE (you should ask elsewhere about it), but you may need to install language-support-tt (which should compile tt_RU locale for you). If nothing else works, try setting LC_ALL=tt_RU.UTF-8 environment variable (but I can't help with that much more, please ask elsewhere).

If you want to test Bashir translations, I suppose you'll also have to create a new GNU libc locale for it, so look around the net on how do you do that.

Can you help with this problem?
