Disable Ubuntu only user interface elements

Asked by Thomas Bjelkeman-Pettersson

In Launchpad.net there are Ubuntu specific user interface elements which are not relevant to other projects. For example under Blueprints: Propose for sprint. How do we disable such elements in projects which are not related to Ubuntu?

I wouldn't say those features are Ubuntu-specific. Sprints are a feature of Launchpad, like external bug trackers. Some projects need to use that feature, some projects don't. You don't have to use it but I'm fairly sure you can't turn it off.

Thanks for the answer.
I would argue that it is a missing feature. External bug trackers I
can configure. I can even choose not to enable them. But sprints I
have to have in my UI regardless if I want them or not.

Best regards

Thomas

External bug tracker was a bad example. How about blueprints? Lots of projects (most projects, I think) don't use them but they're always there. Same with translations.

If you feel strongly about this, file a bug, but understand our point of view: we want to expose a standard toolkit. If anything, the sprint UI might be better if sprints were _more_ visible.

Can you help with this problem?
