Just like to point out that removing the comment removes information about 8.10 having a regression.

I was planning on replacing it with a comment indicating there was a possible regression and continuing to investigate, but as it stands, his comment violates the Ubuntu CoC and is inflamatory and tends to make people stop reading.

Oh, and the bug is marked as WONTFIX anyhow so I'm not sure what he's complaining about. Especially since it appears that the bug in question has actually been FIXED by accident in Intrepid, which may cause regression of another bug, which I am trying to investigate.
