How to stop launchpad opening in Fire fox every time

I installed unbutu 8.04 and incautiously clicked on Hardware testing in system administration. i registered with launch pad as it insisted and now my web mail and launch pad open every time I launch firefox so I have 3 tabs open.

I don't recall agreeing to this behaviour. How do I stop it? i'll reinstall the lot in a clean start if I have to, but it's not Agood advert for your services.

Edited in about:config. I don't know if it's stopped everything but at least it's hiden the symptoms.

Hi Doire,

This doesn't sound like something Launchpad would to do your browser. Perhaps could you have accidentally set Firefox to open those tabs when it runs?
