Can't remove team contact address

Asked by Michael Lustfield

Can a friendly admin please remove the two email addresses that aren't set to primary. The -owner is getting spam so I changed it to -admin and the third is an email I don't want most people using.

Thanks

Hi Michael,

What team do you want us to do this for?

What email addresses are you talking about, specifically? AFAICS that team's contact email address is ubuntu-us-sd at lists ubuntu.

Could you just remove the -admin email address? I'd like the -owner removed but I may want to pop back to that someday. The -admin will never be used though.

Are you talking about a Launchpad mailing list or some traditional Mailman mailing list?

I think I now understand the confusion. This doesn't have anything to
do with Launchpad lists, though -- the lists are hosted at
lists.ubuntu.com are run by the Canonical IS team. You're talking about
mailman addresses that are pre-generated for you. I actually don't think
you can or should remove them -- they are addresses that mailman
advertises and your users may rely on them.

In my group on launchpad I have these three email addresses. Spam is always directed into -owner and -admin doesn't exist anymore.

I would prefer my users use the address that is currently set to default for the group. Could these other two addresses please be removed from the list? I don't what my users trying to contact me via an address that doesn't exist or is strongly filtered.

Can you show me a URL where you see these exact three email addresses?

(I have really no idea what you are talking about.)

Hi Michael!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. We understand your request now and it has been assigned to the admins to complete. Please be patient with them, though ...

Cheers,
Henning
