Merge cups and cupsys

Asked by Philipp Schlesinger

There exist https://launchpad.net/cupsys/ and https://launchpad.net/cups/, both of them pointing to the same upstream project (http://www.cups.org/) and to the same Ubuntu source package cupsys.
Please merge those two projects into one.

Hmm, I see that this question expired, but the issue still exists.

Hello Philipp,

sorry to take so long to answer. We don't have yet a way to merge projects. What we can do is to deactivate one of the projects.
Which one should be disabled?
I'd also recommend move all open bugs reported against the project that will be disabled to the one which will remain active. Once that's done we can deactivate it.

Matsubara, note that I think this is actually a bug, and that project merging is an important feature (though perhaps not the top Registry priority right now).

Kiko, that's why bug 110237 is linked to this question. Until we fix that, I suggest we use the 'deactivate project' workaround.

Still a problem, but needs a bug fixed first.
