how to set up translations

What do I have to do in order to enable translations for a release, besides uploading de POT files?

Go the settings page for your project (this is not under Translations—it's under the regular "Change details" on the project's front page—and set the option "Translations for this project are done in Launchpad." Then submit that form by clicking the Change button at the bottom.
