python Module Feedparser not found

Asked by Ravi

HI Folks,

Every time i try to load Avant Window Navigtor I end up getting this error MSG. need help

The following Python modules could not be found: feedparser. There are a few possible explanations for this:
1. You do not have this Python module installed. In this case, you should visit the AWN wiki's applets section to figure out the exact name of the package for your distribution that provides this module.
2. The module is installed in a non-standard location. This is usually the case when you manually install a package, that is, not via your distribution's package manager. This situation is explained in the FAQ section of the wiki.

Ravi,

Since you're using Ubuntu (a Debian-based system), try doing this.

1.) Open a Terminal from Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal.
2.) sudo apt-get install python-feedparser
3.) Launch AWN again.

Hope it helps.
