Create super-project and rename existing project

Asked by Cael Kay-Jackson on 2008-09-11

Hi,

It appears that the only way to create a project group or super-project is by requesting it via a question? This also seems to be the case for renaming a project, so here I am.

We have an existing project, 'spenglr', and we have decided to create a super-project to group two regular projects, with a potential third in the future. We would like to rename 'spenglr' to 'spenglr-org' and create a new super-project called 'spenglr'.

I will handle the rest - the creation of the second child project and adjusting any details - if one of you nice fellows would be kind enough to make these changes for us :)

Additionally, could I also request that the 'trunk-abandoned' (https://launchpad.net/spenglr/trunk-abandoned) series in spenglr be deleted? (It has no branches attached.) We didn't realize that it wasn't possible to delete a series until we had done a load of rearranging previously.

Many thanks.

Cael.

Done: https://edge.launchpad.net/spenglr and https://edge.launchpad.net/spenglr-org are now yours. Thanks for suggesting the rename! Your series is also sorted.
