Please delete project eagereyes, make project group

Asked by Robert Kosara

Like a few others, I did not understand correctly how project groups work. So could somebody delete my project eagereyes and create a project group of the same name? I want to use that for a number of projects that are related to my website (EagerEyes.org), like eeo-presidentialdemographics (eeo stands for the website) and others that I'll put up here soon.

So let's transform the existing eagereyes into another project! What is the license of the code you'll be hosting here?

Oh, I thought you needed to delete and recreate as a group? Well, anyway: the license will be GPL v2. Can I change that later if I want to switch to, say, GPL v3?

You can't transform a project into a project group; however, we could just rename your existing project into one of the projects that will go into your project group (hope that makes more sense). Tell me a name and I'll do it as part of creating your project group.

You can change the license as long as it stays open source.

Ah, I see. One of the names will be eeo-zipscribblemaps. And the license will certainly stay open source.
