Fails to build valid package in PPA because source is rejected

Asked by Rylie Pavlik

I am attempting to upload a modified version of the AbiWord packages to a new team PPA - they are for testing a new feature that is still in flux and thus that we don't want all AbiWord users to get yet by default. All I did was add a dependency, a changelog entry, and a light modification to the configure line, but this new package keeps getting rejected.
[Edit: oh yeah, it's the ~abicollab-net team's ppa]

Here's the rejection email:

There's already an existing file in the archive with that name, and its got a different MD5. You'll need to increment the version number and reupload.

As you can see from the fact I uploaded two logs, I did just that, since that was the basic solution proposed by the email. It still failed.

In your second upload you also are sending in abiword_2.6.4.orig.tar.gz but that package already exists in the archive, with a different MD5.

Can you help with this problem?
