How to create a (formatted) link in project details?

I would like to add a link to the project details to my own translation web site, since it is not possible for my project to work with gettext. I tried html, which, did not work, as well as wiki-syntaxes (i believed to know).

We have a bug open for that, which I linked to this question. You'll be notified when the bug is fixed. Unfortunately we have no ETA for fixing that.

Note that if you add the URL in the description of your project, Launchpad will automatically linkify it.
