how to setup the translation domain/template structure?

Asked by Cornelius Weiss

regarding tine 2.0 translations

I uploaded our translation templates:
https://translations.launchpad.net/tine20/+imports

unfortunallay i can't delete our old first tryout:
https://translations.launchpad.net/tine20/trunk/+pots/tine
or merge it with the correct template (Crm).

We would need several templates which are at the upload file named like:
<modulename>.pot
<modulename>-<lang>.po
i had to name them this way to pass the upload system.

In our project the files however are named a bit different:
<moduldir>/template.pot
<moduldir>/lang.po

is it possible to make this eqal in the lp translation system.

This is a known problem: see bugs 148286, 148276. Names for translation files are generated at different times, under different circumstances, so they're not always uniform. The system remembers the filenames it sees; it doesn't make up the directory structure when you export.

If you want to rearrange the files, try downloading them all. You'll get a tarball. Unpack this somewhere, move the files around to fit your preferred directory structure, tar them back up, and upload the new tarball as a "published" upload. Please let me know when you've done this, so I can see if the upload needs manual approval.

Can you help with this problem?
