Inadvertently posted private information.

I understand that it is currently not feasible to edit one's posting. However, are there contingencies in place for when personal information has been inadvertently posted? For example, one's phone number?

We can hide messages entirely in most cases (or indeed you can generally do that yourself), and then you can post a redacted copy of the message yourself.
