private PPA for kubuntu-updates-testing

Asked by Harald Sitter

Like suggested on IRC I'd like to request the kubuntu-updates-testing PPA to become private.

KDE provides release tarballs about 1 week in advance for packaging. We are working in a team to get everything in shape, thus to improve collaboration we would require a central archive to upload finished packages for use/testing by others within that team. Due to the fact that KDE requests to keep them secret and the potential danger of these WIP packages we would need a private PPA.

Harald and Jonathan,

Making a PPA private will require will to sort special access to the repository, http://ppa.l.n will not work anymore.

Are you sure you don't want to wait sometime until we define a common way to access the P3As externally ?

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Harald Sitter for more information if necessary.
