mass deletion of packages

How can I delete all packages of an release (e.g. precise) in my ppa.
I don't want to delete the whole ppa, because it is in use for e.g. xenial, but I want get rid of the stuff I don't support any more.
In some of my ppa this means >1000 packages.
To delete this amount of packages the normal web interface is not suitable.
