Import OpenPGP key error

Asked by Michael A. Manreza

This is what I get when I import my key:

Launchpad could not import your OpenPGP key.

When I search, I found this info:
pub 1024D/52BC2333 2008-07-23 Michael A. Manreza <email address hidden>

What is wrong? Please help.

Your system clock needs to be adjusted. The incorrect timestampt is probably the reason why gnupg ignores the (existing) self-signature on the userid, and the “missing” userid could be the reason why launchpad rejects the key. I am just guessing, though.

1. Keep your clock in sync with public time standards, otherwise you will have problems with certain types of software, especially cryptographic software.
2. Wait 1080 seconds then try again ;-)

Thank you very much Marc, I just set my system clock to the Standard Manila Time in the Philippines.
