Removing releases

Asked by Amos Jeffries

Can we please have a method for project members to withdraw releases without needing assistance.

Meanwhile, the squid project has a few releases that need removing.
Note the lower-case, upper case entries of same name from automatic scan are correct.

series trunk: 3.0stable1 and 3.0rc1
series 3.0 : 3.0.stable1 and 3.0.stable7 and all with dates pattern embedded ie 3.0.STABLE7-2008...

Also, on that date pattern, we've been having some trouble getting the pattern right to only include the checkpoint stable releases.
http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.0/squid-3.0.STABLE*.tar.gz (includes the daily ones we don't want)
   http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.0/squid-3.0.STABLE\d*.tar.gz (seems not to match)

any suggestions which pattern types might work?
