Request to create super-project

Asked by fivemile

Firstly, thanks very much for the service you guys provide ... its fantastic!!

My request ...

I originally created a lanchpad project,
https://launchpad.net/vmod

I have since created a new project in it place,
https://launchpad.net/vmod-framework

and added 2 other new projects,
https://launchpad.net/vmod-library
https://launchpad.net/vmod-container

Is it possible to transform the original 'vmod' into a super-project of the other 3 projects?

Thanks for any help with this.
Best regards,
David.

No, it's not possible. Project groups are created separately (I always ask myself how this meme of project to project group conversion got out there!). Having said that, we can create a project group for your projects, but you'll need to repurpose or request deletion of the vmod project. Is there another project you will be adding that isn't in Launchpad yet?

Thank you for the response. In light of this, may I kindly request that the 'vmod' project be deleted, and a project group be created to contain 'vmod-framework', 'vmod-container', and 'vmod-library'.

I don't have further projects to add as of yet, but in time I hope to.

Thank you very much,
David.

Done: https://edge.launchpad.net/vmod/

I also renamed the existing vmod to https://edge.launchpad.net/vmod-old -- you can use it to pull out information and let me know when it's done so I disable it. I saw there was a code branch attached to it -- wanna delete that or move it across?

Please feel free to disable vmod-old, I have taken what I need from it. The code branch that is attached to it is also no longer needed.

Once again, thank you very much for the assistance.
David.
