Login issues - Account cannot be used

Errors are occurring for a number of LaunchPad accounts upon trying to login. The user is greeted with the message "This account cannot be used".

# It is NOT an issue with your personal account, but a problem with LaunchPad itself.

Perhaps this merits a little research on your part before creating a duplicate account. It is not a case of your account being disabled, a little digging turns up that it is in fact an issue with LaunchPad. My account was playing up yesterday in the exact same manner, but as you can see it is now fine. The short answer to this question is, patience.
