Way to register external RSS feeds?

Hi there

The Launchpad system provides a means to make 'announcements' relating to a project that is registered here at Launchpad. I already maintain project announcements for my project (ASCEND) via the SF.net announcement system. Is there any way that that RSS feed could be registered with Launchpad so that announcements made via SF.net can also be imported and displayed in Launchpad?

This system of providing external RSS feed import is already provided by Ohloh and SWIK, FWIW.
