Isn't this a task in the project maintainer's responsibility?
Maybe someone else should take over maintenance responsibility, if the registered person does not respond to requests.
Manfred Hampl, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, the original maintainer Vic is MIA.
Hence, I would recommend one of the official maintainers of Remmina upstream, and downstream be assigned the new maintainer at the projects earliest convenience:

I've worked directly with most of those folks upstream, so this should be a timely, and orderly transition.

@penalvch: I'm one of the upstream maintainers of Remmina. Thank you for bringing our attention to this problem.
We really are totally PPA-ignorant, so we need help on understanding what really https:/
We are trying to understand what to do, but we have more questions that solutions :)
a) We don't know the reason of the existence of https:/
b) Is it safe to delete it ? If yes, who can delete it ?
c) We have no way to communicate with Vic Lee, we have only an old e-mail address of Vic, but he usually does not answer. We had the last contact with him a couple of years ago.
So... any information will be appreciated.
Thank you
Giovanni Panozzo (giox069), thanks for caring!
IMHO (which is superseded by Launchpad Itself Maintainers, et. al.), https:/
In terms of importance, it is at the convenience of the development community, as it is a tool for folks as they like.
I typically make Launchpad Itself requests here and they are dealt with on the order of hours to days, but given how long this has been unattended to by Launchpad Itself Maintainers, they must be extremely busier than ever, and/or this is the wrong venue.
Hopefully, one of them will chime in and advise when they get a spare second. Other than this, one may have to engage folks on IRC via https:/

Sorry for the Italian answer, it was not meant for you.
I was forwarding it to Giovanni (plus a typo due to Swiftkey keyboard).
Thanks for this post and yes, this issue must be addressed.
Beside that, do you know about the remmina-next PPA existence ?
That PPA is our official PPA as described in our wiki https:/

We cannot do this ourselves, so we asked to be granted admin rights on the Project: https:/

Whew, this must be the longest question still needing an answer on Launchpad! :D
Manfred Hampl (m-hampl) said : | #23 |
Maybe #launchpad on Freenode can help
Perhaps. That's not an answer though.

Sorry for the delay. I've updated https:/
Colin Watson, thanks for the quick response to my rt.ubuntu.com case!
I was patiently prepared for this to take a while given it's not an emergency.
Thanks again!

The project is now owned by ~remmina-ppa-team, so anyone in that can change these details.
