disabling wiki account combined with an active launchpad account prevents creating of new account on the ubuntu wiki

Asked by PieterIserbyt

I have a working launchpad account, later on also created a wiki account for wiki.ubuntu.com, using the unified launchpad authentication.

Since i somehow managed to create a wiki username that was not a wiki name (Pieteriserbyt instead of PieterIserbyt) and i was not able to rename my wiki account, i decided to delete the old wiki account, i went to user preferences and selected "disable this acount forever" (or something of the likes, can't verify this right now)

When i wanted to create a new account, using "create a new account" (https://launchpad.net/+login) launchpad tells me i'm already logged in.

However, trying to use the same email and password to login into the wiki gives me "Sorry, wrong password.". I tried logging out of launchpad and then logging in on the wiki, but the result is the same:

1) the wiki logs me in on launchpad
2) does not log me in on the wiki (nor asks me to create an account)
3) tells me "Sorry, wrong password."

So right now, i'm kinda locked out of the wiki.

This is best tracked as a question. I'll ask the IS team to re-enable your wiki account.

Hi Pieter,

Nick Moffit re-enabled your account. Can you try logging in again?

Thanks
