Spanish translation for Gnome Scan?

I have noticed that Gnome Scan is not translated into Spanish in Gutsy and Hardy, but there are Spanish translations for this project in Gnome.org since years ago ( http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gnome-scan). So I don't know why it is not translated yet in Ubuntu... I have searched "gnomescan" package in Launchpad in order to translate it myself and there's a "gnomescan" page indeed, but translation options are not available for this package.

I realized that I should have sent this question to Ubuntu project instead of Launchpad, so now I'm closing this message to open it again in Ubuntu section.
