Change the type of branch?

Is there a way to change the type of a branch from, say, mirrored to hosted or remote without deleting the branch and creating it again?

I wasn't able to find it.

I'm pleased that someone has asked for this as I have thought some people might like to do this. But unfortunately no. There is no current way do to this.
