Importing Qt based ts files

Based on the bug tracker, it seems as if Rosetta would support the Qt-based .ts file format:

However, when I upload a ts file or a tar of ts files with existing translations, I am told no recognizable files are found. I can, in principal, generate .po files, but I thought this was already solved in Rosetta. I would like to make sure the translations are as accurate as possible, and that Rosetta can track our current translations, performed using Qt Linguist for French and German ts files.

Actually, the status of that bug in Rosetta is "Confirmed," which means it has not yet been fixed. We do not have support for ts files at the moment, so I'm afraid you'll need to generate PO files!
