I can, but I'm curious: why are you requesting us remove all this data?

we came across a copyright issue for having "PHP" in our product name, so we are going through a full re-branding :)

Thanks for your help.

I can just rename all those projects and teams. Would you prefer that?

hmm, i didn't think of that ...
its too late we already created a new project: chaos.base and in the process of populating data right now ... thanks anyways :)

here's a question, there is an inactive project "chaos" how long will it take before it is flagged "inactive" and removed from the system so that somebody else can claim the name ?
i contacted the driver, but so far i have had no response ....

i chose to go with chaos.base because there will be "child" projects that follow and will be using the prefix "chaos." ... but it would be nice if we can use the "chaos" one as well ...

thanks.

Why don't we nuke chaos.base and rename all the other ones instead?
It'll be a lot less work.

You need to ask an admin, like me, to sort it out.

sure, lets do whatever is easiest ... rename all "phpinfinity" to 'chaos" (except the main project to "chaos.base" cuz "chaos" is taken)
but do delete "php-infinity-zeta"

:)

Thanks.

just got a reply from the "chaos" project owner, says he's willing to give it to me ... but doesn't know what to do ...
should i just tell him to request a removal and you can take it from there ?

thanks a lot, i'm sorry if this is taking too much out of your time.

:)

I can also free up chaos for your use. Would you prefer that?

Done the deletion at least.

You might want to use chaos for a project group. Have you considered
that?

no lets use "chaos" as the main project ... when the time comes to re-group the group name should be something like "chaos soft" or something ...
does the guy who owns "chaos" need to do anything ?

Well, in the end, I chose to rename chaos.base to chaos:

    https://edge.launchpad.net/chaos

You can rename the existing teams yourself by visiting the teams' +edit
pages. I can delete chaos.developers if you would prefer to reuse the
original teams.

Nope.

It can't be deleted, but that's bug 237210.

Done.

Yeah, it's a known bug, too.
