Mailing list as "Answer Contact"

The (upstream) Pidgin project has an existing support mailing list. I think it'd be cool if we could setup a Answer Contact such that when people ask questions about Pidgin via Launchpad, it'd go to <email address hidden>. Is that possible? How might we go about that?

You can do this easily, with one caveat.

Once you've created the team for Pidgen, click on the 'Change contact address'
link in the Actions menu. This will present you with a radio choice 'Another
e-mail address' and you can enter <email address hidden> into the text box. Click
Change and your contact address will be set up... well, almost!

Launchpad currently sends a confirmation message to the contact address when
you set it, and in this case the confirmation message will be sent to the
mailing list. You might want to catch this confirmation message so it doesn't
hit the list, or at least watch the list for the message, then confirm the
setting of the contact address.
