Telephone number on shipped Ubuntu CDs

I greatly appreciated receiving free Ubuntu CDs ordered through the Launchpad, but was worried to see that my telephone number had been printed on the address label, below the delivery address. Is this strictly necessary, or can the format of the address label be changed to not reveal this piece of personal information?
The label specifies that I have received the CDs under "wave 09" and the identifier "NLMM01" is given in the top left-hand corner.

I realise that this may not be the correct place to make this query, but haven't found a mechanism for giving feedback on the ShipIt section of the site.
