Members of the documentation team told me that they are aware of this and are discussing the best course of action.
Thank you

I am a member of the documentation team, and that's the whole reason I filed this ticket.

I'm affraid I can't give you more information. When I first read this I went to #Ubuntu-Doc and was told that, even though they were aware, it was still being discussed.
Maybe we will hear something in a few days.
Getting in touch with the launchpad mailing list could also help.

Please stop closing this request, unless you are a Launchpad administrator.

The spam attack happened again today, and asking in #launchpad enabled Stub to disable the account. However, it could have been avoided had someone read this ticket. Is there any point filing tickets, or should we take pot luck with #launchpad?

For a variety of reasons, #launchpad is your best bet.

Matthew: that's fair enough, but it originally happened during the weekend, when #launchpad was a bad time. So is the support tracker a bit superfluous? Or is it simply not supposed to be used for administrative requests?
