New Translation Team (cy)

Asked by Christopher Griffiths

I would like to register a Launchpad.net translation team for the Welsh (cy) language.

The team is registered at: https://launchpad.net/~lp-l10n-cy-gb

We are using the default translation guidelines at the moment.

I have fulfilled all the requirements listed at https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/LaunchpadTranslators#StartingTeam

The default communication protocol is the Launchpad mailing list.

A translation of the current (20:20 12/05/2016) description is as follows:
"This group was established to translate projects which are available on Launchpad. The main intention of the group is to translate Google Chromium (Chrome) to Welsh in order to provide a comprehensive web experience.

Join the group by contacting one of the administrators and respond to their membership test, it will not be difficult but it will show whether you can translate competently or not.

The mailing list <email address hidden> is the chief form of communicating with team members, send any questions or ideas at that list.

Presently we are using the Launchpad translation guide which is available here: https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/Guide
There will be content specific for Welsh before long based on the document above including references and common terms as are usually translated."

I am awaiting my membership for ubuntu-etherpad in order to provide content on the Ubuntu Wiki for further guidelines.

Appointed; sorry for the delay. Let us know if/when you want to adjust your guidelines link if you can't do it yourself.

Thank you Colin, I will be able to translate some projects unavailable to us before.
