Enable arm builds for ppa:dansmith/chirp-snapshots

Asked by Dan Smith

Hi,

Can we enable ARM builds for https://launchpad.net/~dansmith/+archive/ubuntu/chirp-snapshots ?

It's python only, builds are super fast :)

Thanks!

You can do this yourself now; go to https://launchpad.net/~dansmith/+archive/ubuntu/chirp-snapshots, select "Change details", check armhf, and save.

Though since those packages are Python-only and don't seem to have any compiled code in them (at least not going by the build log), they should be "Architecture: all" in order that they're only built on one architecture but published for all. If you did that then it wouldn't matter whether you had armhf building enabled or not. "Architecture: any" is for packages that can be built for any architecture but have architecture-dependent code.

They are set for "all" currently, but I only get x86 and amd64 packages. I followed doc links to ask this, but they must be old.

Thanks!

Not so; your debian/control file says "Architecture: any". (At least in chirp-daily 20160402~wily~1.)

Sorry, I conflated the two. I'll fix it, thanks.
