Import bugs from Sourceforge

Asked by Vlad Dumitrescu

Hello!

How would an import of bug reports from Sourceforge go? The relevant documentation page is missing.

Am I supposed to do it myself with the XML-RPC interface?
I saw somewhere a note about an offer to do the import for Sourceforge projects, free of charge. Is this current?

Thank you for the great tools!
best regards,
Vlad

To clarify: I found that I can set the project as tracking bugs with Sourceforge, but the bugs don't seem to get updated from there - it's been 24 hours since I created a test bug and it's still in the initial state.

I checked other projects, and some seem to have a mix of local and remote handled bugs...

Is it just me that doesn't get it?

regards,
Vlad

If you don't provide URLs to the project or the bugs you are referring to, helping you out becomes much harder :)

Hi,
That's true, sorry -- the initial question was general, so I forgot...

The project is https://launchpad.net/erlide
The bug is https://bugs.launchpad.net/erlide/+bug/209642

I've been fiddling around lately with the settings for the bug trackers, why can't bugs be created in launchpad too? They would just need to be added to the list of bugs to be updated upstream...

regards,
Vlad

Is the problem with the update the same as bug #199581?
