Hello Alex,

currently we don't have a way for an user to delete his own account.

This a known issue and we have a bug open for it. Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can remove all your personal details from Launchpad.

This is an inadequate answer.

My name pops up on Google a zillion times, in relation to all kinds of activities that I have nothing to do with. All because I foolishly opened a Launchpad account.

I'd also want my account to be removed. I made a new account which is (https://launchpad.net/~andoty-jazz) so I wanted this account (https://launchpad.net/~andotyjazz) account be removed if possible. And also for the admin. If possible, can you make a feature that will make a user be crawled by Google or not. I know it's a tough and rough job thou but it's sure to attract more people to register to launchpad and cooperate and share. I'll keep track if the feature of removing one's account is already at hand. Thanks for launchpad. Very promising web collaboration app.
