The downloads aren't resumable

It seems like the resuming of downloads is blocked. Neither wget nor JDownloader can resume a partial download, which is a pain in the neck when downloading 3G of sources.

Can you please unblock it?

Can you please give an example URL? There are lots of places you might download something from that are connected with Launchpad, and without context we can't know where to start with your request.
