Is it possible to release rights of, or destroy, a project with invalid maintainer's address ?

Gennady Arkhangorodsky registered the Duo project on Launchpad two years ago, like he did for two or three other projects. The Launchpad page does nothing but presenting the project and providing a bazaar branch from the original source code on svn.

I have brought much love to Duo, and I am ready to share it today, and I did want to use Launchpad. Unfortunaly, Gennady's mail is no more valid and I'm locked out. Could it be possible to grant me admin rights on Duo project ?
