Need more space in PPA

I have deleted all past packages, and am still using too much space. The problem is sagemath is a large package and I would like to extend it to cover more than just LTS releases. I will soon supersede the version there (it is a dev PPA for one package at a time which is then later uploaded to the stable PPA, which also needs more space: https://launchpad.net/~aims/+archive/ubuntu/sagemath/+packages )

The very large and numerous source tarballs are the problem. Is there a reason you're uploading tarballs that contain binaries rather than building from source tarballs like a normal package?

It seems like you're normally well within the quota, but today it was exceeded because you uploaded several versions that failed to build. You don't use an orig.tar.gz, so each upload used 2GB of the quota even though there were only changes within debian/.

A few suggestions, all of which are recommended, but any one of which will solve the problem:

 - Test with "sbuild" locally to avoid having to iterate on Launchpad.

 - Upload (smaller, actual) source tarballs and build the binaries on Launchpad as all open source Ubuntu packages do.

 - Separate the upstream files into an orig.tar.gz rather than using a native package, so you can make debian/* changes without reuploading the whole thing.

 - Wait up to 24 hours for deleted files to be removed from disk and clear up your quota.
