Request for extra PPA quota

Asked by Benjamin Bach

Dear Launchpad team,

We've decided to split our PPA activities into one mainline "ka-lite" which has our stable builds. And one "ka-lite-proposed" which features our prereleases.

I would like to ask two questions, first is a GIANT favour, if we may have the same quota on ka-lite-proposed as the mainline ka-lite? (10 GiB)

https://launchpad.net/~learningequality/+archive/ubuntu/ka-lite-proposed

Second question is if there will be a way for us to clean up after unused alpha and beta releases in ka-lite-proposed? What is the normal procedure for the Ubuntu family?

Background:

Foundation for Learning Equality creates educational software for offline environments. That's why our packages are a little big. We are doing our best to work down the size -- because size matters when distributing for offline usage on small devices.

We managed to create our first stable debian release a couple of months ago but used up a lot of storage getting to the final result. We're hoping that in the future, this will mean that we'll be less intensive in the test-building process.

Furthermore, we're setting up our own build server for nightlies.

Best,
Benjamin

Btw Foundation for Learning Equality is an NGO creating open source software :)
