Please re-import libinput branch

Asked by Bryce Harrington

The upstream git tree for libinput was reset --hard back to the previous HEAD, and the importer appears to be confused now. I hit the Import Now button to manually re-import but looks like it's not pulling.

Basically the imported git branch needs to be blown away and re-imported. Is that something you can help me with, or explain how to do it through the UI?

The import is now suspended due to having failed five times.

The easiest way to reset the import is to just delete it and recreate it. That can be awkward if there are merge proposals or bug links, but this has neither, so it's probably not worth the manual hackery to reset the existing import.

I assume by 'delete it' you mean delete the branch holding the import. Attempting to delete the branch results in an Oops:

Error ID: OOPS-ec3e1b90271f3ae26a5797028b899390

I'm mainly concerned with the recipe attached to that branch, and would prefer not to have to recreate that if possible.

You can move the recipe to a new branch once it's created.

I couldn't figure out how to "move the recipe". I had to delete it and recreate it instead afterall.

You could have just edited the recipe's text to reference another branch.

Can you help with this problem?
